Free forever: position size calculator
The core RiskPicks calculator is free with no account required. Enter your bankroll, your risk tolerance, and your stop loss, and the tool returns the exact share count, dollar risk, and risk-reward ratio for the trade. Real-time quotes, technical indicators (RSI, ATR, VWAP, pivot points), market movers, and the daily AI market briefing are available to everyone.
Creating a free account unlocks a 5-day trial of every paid feature so you can test the journal, brokerage sync, AI Coach, and AI Research before deciding.

How AI Research works
One depth, grounded in real SEC filings. Each lookup hands the AI a live data package first — real-time price + volume + technicals (RSI, ATR, VWAP, pivots), congressional trades, insider Form 4 activity, Wall Street analyst targets, multi-timeframe trend, relative strength vs SPY and the sector ETF, and the macro regime (VIX, 10-year yield, Dollar index). Then it reads the relevant SEC filings: 10-K MD&A and risk factors, 10-Q quarterly narrative, 8-K material events from the last 90 days, S-1 and S-3 dilution registrations and 424B prospectuses, DEF 14A proxy statements, Form 144 planned-sale notices. Output is a day-trade and swing-trade conditions assessment, every claim citable back to a filing.
Common pricing questions
What does RiskPicks add that a generic AI assistant doesn't?
A generic AI assistant does not know your trades, does not have your bankroll, and relies on web search for prices, which are often wrong or stale. RiskPicks feeds live prices, technicals, congressional trades, and SEC insider filings to the AI before it answers, and the AI Coach reads your actual trade history to identify patterns in your own behavior. Different tool for a different job.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Your account stays active. You keep access to the calculator (with ads) and all your saved trades. Premium features such as the journal, performance analytics, brokerage sync, AI Coach, and AI Research require a subscription after the trial ends.
Is the yearly plan worth it?
Yearly saves around 17% versus monthly billing. Same features either way. Pick based on whether you prefer flexibility or savings.
Which AI models does RiskPicks use?
Perplexity drives Research because its SEC-filing search is best in class. Claude, GPT, Gemini, and Grok sit in the fallback waterfall if Perplexity is down, so single-vendor outages do not kill your research.
Do I need an account to try anything?
No. The calculator, quotes, indicators, movers, and daily market briefing work without an account. A free account unlocks a full 5-day trial of every paid feature.
